Patrick Gallaway, Managing Director

Mr. Gallaway joined R.W. Pressprich in August 2005 as Managing Director in the Structured Finance Department. Previously, he was Managing Director and Head of the Agency CDO Group at Barclays Capital in New York . Before joining Barclays Capital, Mr. Gallaway formed and was the Head of the Financial Structures Group of INVESCO Asset Management. Prior to that, Mr. Gallaway was Managing Director of PaineWebber's Structured Credit Products Group and Director of Nomura Securities International Structured Finance Group. Mr. Gallaway has an MBA from the University of Florida and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.


Arturo Cifuentes, Managing Director

Dr. Cifuentes joined R.W. Pressprich in August 2005 as Managing Director in the Structured Finance Department.  Previously, he was Managing Director and Global Head of CDO Research at Wachovia Securities in New York .  Before joining Wachovia, Dr. Cifuentes managed the Triton Opportunities Fund I, a US$ 330 million CDO of CDOs , a leveraged fund that invested in CDO bonds.  Previously, he had been a Managing Director in the Structured Finance department of AMBAC and a Senior Vice President at Moody's.  He has contributed to the development of many analytical techniques that are commonly used in the structured finance arena, and has lectured and consulted extensively on many financial topics in the U.S. and overseas. Prior to entering the financial arena he worked at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights , New York where he focused on mathematical models and numerical methods in Engineering and Applied Science. Dr. Cifuentes received a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics and an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), an MBA in Finance (Stern Scholar Award) from New York University and a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Chile .


Gerard O’Connor, Managing Director

Mr. O'Connor has worked in Structured Finance since 1993 when he joined Moody's Investors Service. While at Moody's, Mr. O'Connor made significant contributions to the development of the Moody's rating methodology of CDOs.  Since 1999, Mr. O'Connor worked at a number of firms including JP Morgan Chase and Barclays Capital as a senior banker with responsibilities for originating and structuring CDO products. In August of 2005, Mr. O'Connor joined R.W. Pressprich as one of the original members of its structured finance group. Mr. O'Connor focuses on developing the firms' European Structured Finance capabilities. Mr. O'Connor has a B.Sc. in Biology and Chemistry from The National University in Ireland .


Georgios Katsaros, Senior Analyst

Mr. Katsaros is a Senior Quantitative Analyst in the Structured Finance group with responsibilities for developing transaction models and assisting in the structuring process. Before joining R.W. Pressprich in October 2005, Mr. Katsaros held the position of software engineering manager at RCC Consultants, a leading wireless communications consulting firm, where he was responsible for wireless network planning and optimization. Mr. Katsaros holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science and a M.A. in Economics, both from Rutgers University . He received a Certificate in Structured Finance from New York University .
