Established in 2006, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) is the largest aircraft lessor in Middle East with a modern, diversified fleet of 110 aircraft (59% narrowbody jet, 41% ATR 72-600, 3% widebody jet). Following its acquisition of AWAS (75% narrowbody jet, 25% widebody), the combined company will have an owned, managed, and committed fleet of 324 aircraft with a total value of over $14 billion. It will serve over 110 airline customers in over 55 countries from offices in Dubai, Ireland, Singapore and the United States. DAE is owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai and three other Dubai-based companies. AWAS is owned by funds managed by Terra Firma Capital Partners and Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board.
