MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated purchased Revlon in 1985 and, on September 7, 2016, Revlon acquired Elizabeth Arden. Revlon, Inc. (“Revlon” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Company”) conducts its business exclusively through its direct wholly-owned subsidiary, Revlon Consumer Products Corporation (“Revlon Consumer Products”) and its subsidiaries. Revlon is an indirect majority-owned subsidiary of MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated, which is a corporation wholly-owned by Ronald O. Perelman.
Revlon develops, manufactures, markets, distributes and sells worldwide an extensive array of beauty and personal care products across a variety of distribution channels. Product offerings include color cosmetics, skin care, hair care, hair color and fragrances under many brands that include Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, Revlon Color Silk, Revlon Professional, American Crew, Almay, Cutex, Elizabeth Taylor, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Juicy Couture, Curve and John Varvatos. Products are sold in approximately 150 countries across six continents.
